Let’s meet up for a walk!
I was inspired this week by an Epoch Times story about dad and baseball fanatic Ethan Bryan, who spent a year playing catch with all sorts of people, no matter the weather. They found fun and community.
This morning on a walk in my neighborhood I thought about how fun it would be to reconnect with friends and family on a walk. I also thought about how much we all need unity, love, and compassion. Face to face, heart to heart, our in-person interactions are so much richer than the angry, assumptive, superficial way things tend to lean on social media.
It would be such a joy to meet with friends–old and new–to get some fresh air, laugh, and find all sorts of commonalities. It feels great to listen, to be heard and understood, to give and receive a smile and hug.
I love being in nature, having conversations and learning new things, and Lord knows I need more exercise.
So what do you say, wanna walk with me? Let’s see how many days in a row I can schedule! I can’t wait to catch up with you.
